Hydro Street Brewing Company Wins County Tourism Business of the Year  Award

Hydro Street Brewing Company, 152 W. James Street, Columbus,  was awarded the 2012 Tourism Business of the Year Award by the Columbia County Visitors Bureau.

Hydro Street, along with one restaurant and  five  individuals, organizations, events,  were honored Wednesday evening during the Columbia County Visitors Bureau’s Award Banquet at Fitz’s on the Lake Restaurant in Lodi.

Hydro Street Brewing Co. LLC. of Columbus opened last year and, according to the visitors bureau, regularly draws customers from Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago. The number of employees has gone from three to 13 since its opening, and  it plans to open an outdoor beer garden. Hydro has 10 beers on tap and three sodas, as well as local wines and seasonal ales.
