I am happy to report that the first green veggies arrived today! Thanks to our farmer Josh at the Plahnt Farm! Check out his facebook page for details about his CSA.
A couple of exciting events are coming up featuring the Plahnt Farm.
Join us on May 4th from 12-3 in Upper Hydro for free beers and snacks while you meet your local CSA farmers.
And on May 6th enjoy a special dinner featuring veggies from the Plahnt farm paired with craft brews for craft beer week!
We are almost ready to start brewing with the 3 bbl system. However, some issues have occurred with the upgrade of the natural gas. Until they are resolved, we be serving a limited menu.

To celebrate all weekend, growlers are $11!
Aaron has been working very hard, and the results of his efforts are tasty!
Aaron is very excited about the Fresh Hop series he has been working on.
Right now we have a fresh Hop Pale Ale, and Summer Rescue-Fresh Hopped, and Fresh Hopped Cheyenne Pepper IPA.
Up coming through out the month of Oct we will be releasing Fresh Hopped Ol Pappy, Fresh hopped Newport Red (yes, the hops at the community garden), and Crawfish River-Fresh hopped with a large volume of fresh hops!
And for the Annual Mug Club Mug Exchange Party-Nov 2, The Fresh Hopped Distinguished Citizen will be on tap! Followed hopefully in a couple of months by the Eis Distinguished Citizen
As soon as I know when the new mugs will be arriving, we will have a party to paint year 3 mugs! Keep on eye out for details.
Back on tap will is the seasonal , Blueberry Stout. And for the first time ever Blueberry wheat!

Please join us on Tuesday Sept 3rd for a new release and end of summer celebration. We are tapping a research and development classic IPA. This brew is light and refreshing with plenty of Northwest Hops that impart a citrus finish.

Thanks to all of you who turned out for The Cycle The Sun Ride. We had a great time and hope you enjoyed all of the locally produced treats! this was a fund raiser for Reap, and over 120 participated!
Ed took some amazing pictures and has shared them with us.

Friday 5/3: Kick-off party with music from the Mad Pole Cats
Beer release – Black Scotch Ale, “One Twisted Sister”. abv 9.5%
It is dark, malty, and ever so smooth.
Beer release – Cascadian Dunkel, “Dirty Dunkel”
This beer is great as it’s true to the cascadian region in its hop profile, and has great chocolate to pair with its banana finish.
Beer release – Maple APA
This is a seasonal beer that we do once a year, using about 75% local maple sap instead of water in the mash and sparge. This version is hoppy, similar to our pre-prohibition style “Old Pappy Pale Ale”.
Beer release – Triple Chocolate Stout
This batch includes two types of chocolate malt and two pounds of Dutch cocoa. It remains true to our stout, being full-bodied, rich in dark malt flavor, and full of a not-to-sweet chocolate throughout.
Beer release – Cinnamon Brown
Aaron was trying to find a unique flavor to beer, and something that could be enjoyed year-round. He was thinking of a gram cracker (maybe he was hoping for a campfire and smores?). What resulted is a mild brown ale with a subtle cinnamon finish. This beer is unique to Hydro Street, and will expand our variety for years to come.
Beer release – Bavarian Weiss, “Garden Party”-mug club party from 1-3pm
This weiss is light and refreshing, and is spiced with coriander and peppercorns. This beer release will be accompanied by the official opening of our beer garden for this year.
Brunch and beers – enjoy a full selection of original craft beer paired with specialty brunch items.
