It has been a wonderful first few months. I am happy to say that we still think opening a brew pub was a good idea
We have expanded our hours and are now serving breakfast, starting at 6am Monday-Saturday, and Sunday at 9am. That means we also have a morning Happy Hour.
I am also very excited to tell you that we are hosting our first Ales and Arts, Arts and Ales Festival on Aug 5th. This is going to a really fun festival! It just so happens that Aug 5th is international beer day.
We are planning on having a beer garden with HSB beers (of course) but we have also invited some other small Wisconsin breweries to join us, live music all day, art and craft exhibits and vendors, and great food. Alex is going to be grilling all day!
In addition, we are hosting a Home Brewers Competition during the fest. The challenge is make a summer porter beer, because I like a good porter in the summer, but it has to be a bit lighter than a winter porter. The winner of the Peoples Choice award will be invited to brew a collaboration beer with Aaron.

Hello All Beer Lovers!
Today is our second mug club party. I am very excited about the Double Belgian Big Whale Ale that Aaron is releasing! Very smooth wonderful beer. I hope to be able to enjoy a pint with you today, as I hope to be not working…it is Wednesday after all! Alex has made a lot of food for you, including the sausage kraut strudel.
We have had a great first few months. Many of the kinks are being worked out and as new come, we work on those too. We have a wonderful staff that is working hard to provide you with great service and food. And of course, Aaron has been working hard to provide the great beer.
A few exciting things…
We are attempting to put in a beer garden out back, just waiting for the permits.
Super Club Saturday has been a great hit. And Alex is having fun cooking for you. This week he is cooking up braised beef and beef tongue for the main course.
Josh has been bringing in some wonderful veggies. His leafy greens are so good. Lunch specials will start to include more salad options, as it is the season!
